My name is James Osborne, and I am the administrator of this blog. I was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1984, and I was raised in the wondrous urban decay that is known as Canton, Ohio. In 2010, I graduated from Kent State University iwith a BA in History. My focus was on Japanese history, and someday I intend to continue those studies at the graduate level.

I have been making electronic music for about ten years. Since 2003 I have been recording under the name Incentive. I usually release everything on the net label I established called Dystopiaq. I tend to make music that are loud, abrasive, and noisy. However, I also have a softer, more ambient side. It just depends on how pissed off, or happy, I am when I create sounds.

I’m on the political left, and usually consider myself a socialist, but of the anti-Stalinist kind. I do not think political reforms will progress society. A true society that functions based on the interests of all will only happen with a massive struggle on a revolutionary scale. I am opposed to the Obama administration just as much as I was opposed to Bush. I feel both political parties in the United States represent the capitalist interests of Wall Street. There is no mainstream party in this country that represents the interests of the average working citizen.

This blog will generally consist of random posts of my thoughts on political issues, advertisements and reviews for music that I enjoy, and whatever nonsense I can think of.
